Vox Hunt: It Makes Me Nostalgic

Pretty much every single photo I have makes me nostalgic in some regard, but this one recently caught my eye. This was from one of my favorite weekend drives in Malibu. I believe this particular turn was Decker Canyon, if I remember correctly.
One of the best ways to clear my head has always been driving through the mountains. Scenic and serene. There's always that sense of exploring new places, and of course just the fun and challenge of driving through challenging roads. This is back when I had my Prelude. So I'm also nostalgic for that car, but at a whole other level I'm also just nostalgic about driving right now. For the first time in like almost 9 years I am car-less. Yes, I recently sold my MINI -- sad, but you really don't need a car in SF. Besides, I saw too many people who can't parallel park up here to make me realize I would never stop worrying about my car.
Of course, this is just a temporary arrangement. You can't keep me off the mountains forever.
