You don't need Steve Silver? Well we saw his show last night, Beach Blanket Babylon. Charm and I never saw it before, and we got some free tickets, thanks to Yelp. And front row, too! Glad we finally got the chance to go -- it was pretty enjoyable. I really hate doing touristy things in the city (just like every SF local probably), so that's why I've always avoided it. But yea, some good itmes. I thought that is was pretty cool how they sneak in lines to keep up with current events - keeps the show a bit fresh. And what a tour through pop music of the last 20 or 30 years.
One thing though, the chairs in the theater were probably the most uncomfortable things I ever sat in -- ever. And what is with all the BBB branding? I mean, branded bottled water for a premium price? Branded chocolate bars? Do tourists really like all of the schwag?
