So last wekeend, I took a trip to the weekly Santana Row exotic car meet. I actually caravaned with Mark in the 911 Turbo. It was actually nice taking 280 south of San Mateo since I haven't gone that way in ages.
There was a pretty good showing of cars that day-- didn't take all that many photos but I thought it'd be fun to select a few with a theme-- the rear ends of some of the fastest cars there. Note that I missed out on a few Diablo, Viper and Corvette rear ends, but just use your imagination for those.
Enjoy!
1. Noble GTO-3R -- this is a twin-turbocharged V6 outputting 340hp in a car that weighs lighter than an Enzo.
2. Aston Martin DB9 - super luxurious V12 pushing 450hp.
3. RUF GT2 - So a regular GT2 is pushing 483hp. RUF brought this one to about 720hp. Chew on that for a moment.
4. Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale - 425 hp and 0-60 in 4.1s. The challenge is about 30 hp more powerful and 250 lbs lighter than a standard 360 Modena.
5. Shelby Cobra - Classic muscle. These things vary in power but you can be certain it is ridiculous.
6. Lamborghini Gallardo - About 520hp. Not my fave Lambo, but they are eyeturners. The bail bond biz must pay handsomely.
7: That's one of 3 Porsche GT3RS at the meet (which makes it about 1% of all that exist) and a Ferrari F430. The GT3RS is EXTREMELY rare. 415hp but an absolute engineering marvel. The F430 is such an amazing car. A V8 pushing 483hp and oh, what an interior.
