I've been looking through a lot of my older photo archives lately and I stumbled upon this one, from a rave in Pomona (called "Jump" if I recall) taken back in May 2000. I was never a raver, but I did go to two of them. I thought this picture came out pretty good. The guy with the glowsticks was my roommate at the time.
I thought, of all the pictures I took, that this one best captured my memories of that night.

I've really been lagging on uploading photos. I have thousands of photos archived, but you would never know it from looking at my collection on Vox. The reason I've been lagging is honestly due to being lazy. Of course that's not due to Vox -- there couldn't be an easier method for uploading photos. Lazy because the photos aren't on the computer I usually log onto Vox with. But I got over it. And I'm going to start going through some photos, and uploading some favorites.
Photography used to be such a guilty pleasure of mine, and it's definitely one I want to get back into. I used to go out on my own with my camera and the intent to get lost. I need to do that again.
The first two photos fell out of a random folder I clicked on - late afternoon at Santa Monica Pier (Jan. 2003).
Was going through some older photos, and this one caught my eye (again). This was a bike rack located at UCLA's South Campus, and it really puzzled me.
Maybe there's an easy explanation, but I couldn't figure out for the life of me how this rack got to be the way it is.
Any ideas?
