Book: Show us a book you started reading but never finished.
I've picked up this book probably a thousand different times to read a few pages here and there but I honestly haven't actually read the whole thing. Still, despite this fact, I feel that I have learned a lot from the GTD icon. This book is filled with helpful tidbits on making your life that much easier to deal with. I use it more as a reference (as it probably should be) and have implemented the GTD method in a many aspects of my life.
I'm a believer.
But I really should finish those last few pages sometime. There might be some more goldmines in there.
Show us some art in your home.
I realize this photo wasn't actually taken in my home, but I swear to you it's sitting right next to my desk right now. It's just too dark to take a decent photo for Vox. This was the latest piece I acquired, It Has Begun by Hilary Pecis.
Found it at Gen Art's Luxe show last year and knew it was one of those I had to have. Yea, I like art. It makes things pretty. The photo might not quite do it justice but it really is an amazing work. Very detailed. And yea, those are mirrors also.
Photo: Show us the smallest thing you can photograph.

Probably not my best (or prettiest) macro shot, but I still kind of like it. On a flower at UCLA.
Show us something pink.
Show us what's in your fridge.

Ok, not my fridge, but I did get to raid this fridge at one point in the past.
Show us something that makes you nostalgic.

One of the best ways to clear my head has always been driving through the mountains. Scenic and serene. There's always that sense of exploring new places, and of course just the fun and challenge of driving through challenging roads. This is back when I had my Prelude. So I'm also nostalgic for that car, but at a whole other level I'm also just nostalgic about driving right now. For the first time in like almost 9 years I am car-less. Yes, I recently sold my MINI -- sad, but you really don't need a car in SF. Besides, I saw too many people who can't parallel park up here to make me realize I would never stop worrying about my car.
Of course, this is just a temporary arrangement. You can't keep me off the mountains forever.
